Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Workshop

The SLELO PRISM (www.sleloinvasives.org) is hosting a Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Workshop on Saturday, January 27th from 1:00-3:45 p.m. at the Delta Lake State Park located at 8797 NY46, Rome NY, 13440 (flyer attached). The purpose of the workshop is to strengthen early detection efforts for hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA), an invasive forest pest that kills hemlock trees. Workshop attendees will learn how to recognize the symptoms of a hemlock woolly adelgid infestation and report observations via iMapinvasives.org (www.imapinvasives.org ).
