The Zoning Enforcement Officer enforces the Zoning Law as adopted by the Town of Rutland and issues zoning permits in accordance with the law.

Building Permits and code enforcement issues are handled by the Jefferson County Building Code office. Their telephone number is (315) 785-5130. Building permit applications are available at the Town Clerk's office or from the County.
