The Champion Town Board met in special session on Monday, December 31, 2001 as advertised. Present were Supervisor Buckley and Councilmen Miller, Stewart, Watkins, and Buzzell.

Supervisor Buckley called the meeting to order at 9:25AM. The Board discussed the condition of the highways during the on-going blizzard and highway equipment that needs repair and maintenance as per a list developed by Highway Superintendent-elect Sech.

The Supervisor presented the year end budget transfers (see attached). Motion by Mr. Watkins, seconded by Mr. Stewart to approve the transfers as presented. Ayes-5. Nays-0. Motion carried.

Motion by Mr. Buzzell, seconded by Mr. Stewart to pay the following bills:

Motion by Mr. Stewart, seconded by Mr. Buzzell to authorize the Supervisor to sign an agreement with Robert F. Stackel, PC to perform an audit of the Town financial records, as required by USDA-Rural Utility Services, for a fee not to exceed $3,800. Ayes-5, Nays-0. Motion carried.

The Board members thanked Councilman Miller for his years of dedicated service to the Town.

Motion by Mr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Stewart to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 10:54AM.
