The Champion Town Board met in special session on Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at 7:00PM. Present were Supervisor Buckley and Councilmen Miller, Stewart and Watkins.

The Board discussed the issue of private roads within the Town and whether the designation of private road should be allowed throughout the Town or in limited areas. The Board also considered the issue of open development within the R-1 district around Pleasant Lake.

It was the consensus of the Board to take action to approve open development around Pleasant Lake at the September meeting.

The Board agreed on the criteria for amending the Subdivision Law including amendments to the definition of roads, the deletion of Section 525, paragraph 1 and the addition of new language as recommended by Town Counsel (see attached).

The meeting adjourned at 9:38PM.
