The Champion Town Board met in special joint session with the Town Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals on Wednesday, September 23, 1998 at 8:00PM at the Champion Municipal Building to discuss an amendment to the town zoning law.

Present were: Supervisor Buckley, Councilmen Watkins, Miller, Stewart, and Buzzell, Planning Board members P. LaBarge, J. Surace, K. Smith, S. Eddy, and F. Koster, Zoning Board members W. Tribol, R. Doremus, and L. Leddy and Michael Bourcey, Jefferson County Planning.

The Board reviewed amendments to the zoning law dealing with the telecommunication towers and recommended changes to the draft of the law.

Mr. Bourcey will make the additions and/or deletions to the document for the next planning board meeting and the planning board will present the final draft of the amended law to the Town Board for action at the regular November meeting of the Town Board.

The meeting adjourned at 9:40PM.
