The Champion Town Board met in special session on Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at 10:30AM at the Municipal Offices. Present were Supervisor Buckley and

Councilmen Stewart, Buzzell, and Miller.

Motion by Mr. Stewart, seconded by Mr. Buzzell to approve resolutions of recognition for Arlene Waite and Allan Moseley for their years of service. Ayes-4, Nays-0. Motion carried.

The Board discussed the award of grants and interest free loans to Champion Water Districts #1 and #2 from the State Revolving Loan Fund.

Supervisor Buckley updated the Board on the status of the proposed regional sewer system. Rural Utilities Development would like to begin the project in Great Bend.

Motion by Mr. Stewart, seconded by Mr. Buzzell to authorize the issuance of $39,000 in serial bonds for municipal building renovations. Ayes-4, Nays-0. Motion carried.

Motion by Mr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Buzzell to adjourn. Ayes-4, Nays-0. Motion carried.
